kidney stones?
Men require less calcium than women. Years ago many feared a kidney stone epidemic because people were taking calcium without magnesium. Magnesium and vitamin B6 supposedly help prevent stones from too much calcium.
Some studies show calcium can cause prostate problems in men. Others think it might because calcium metabolism can cause a deficiency of vitamin D.
If taking calcium also take magnesium, B6, and D3. If taking B6 then you need to take all the B complex vitamins to retain balance.
