Fluoride

 

  So after reading online somewhere that flouride which is put in our water can destroy the good flaura in the bowels Ive been drinking filtered water for about 1 week now.

Before this I was having diarreah 6 times a day so I took one enima which eased it off.

Now im only going about 2-3 times over a day.

So could it be drinking better water? maybe.

I also read somewhere that UC is found only in western countries which also seems to me that here in the west we add flouride to the water and in third world and other countries they dont?

Im not suggesting anything more than this seems interesting.

I know my stomach/colon is sensitive to something in water. I've been drinking bottled water for several years, WalMart spring water. It may or may not be flouride that's my problem, could be alkalinity/acidity, I dunno.
Then again maybe it's all in my head
I feel better with my WalMart water.

We in the western world also have a lot more antibiotic use too, hard to say what the difference or cause is.

Interesting observation. I just read an article about healthy lifestyle choices to lower your risk of cancer. The first thing listed was filter your tap water because of the chemicals and carcinogens that are frequently found in tap water.

Water fluoridation isn't very popular in many regions of Europe, yet incidence rates for ulcerative colitis are quite similar to those found in Canada and the United States.

As for the disparity in the incidence of IBD between the under-developed regions of the world and the West, one must recognize that numerous differences exist beyond water fluoridation. The West and Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and South and Southeast Asia differ with respect to racial composition, rates of antibiotic use, sunlight exposure, diet, et cetera. One must also consider the poor medical infrastructure and under-reporting of conditions in impoverished regions that might render epidemiological data unreliable.
