To test whether this phenomenon is due to vitamin D, I have been supplementing 7,000 IU (that's 1750% of the daily value) of vitamin D3 for over 2 months. It hasn't helped one bit.
Perhaps supplementing vitamin D3 doesn't nearly have the same effect as beng exposed to powerful sunlight directly.
Actually no, it is not 1750% of value, the FDA just won't budge on min daily values, your body USES 4,000IUs a day, so you are taking an extra 3,000IUs.
Random on why the FDA is dragging their feet on upping values, the 40's & 50's they did testing on megga dosing of D, 100,000IUs a day, it killed people at that high of a dose, they were terrified to do much more than known amts to avoid rickets, it's just been in the past couple decades the studies started back up.
