Thanks everyone, ok, at least I know I'm not the only one. Last december the feeling was so bad that I used to heat up a bean bag in the microwave (not sure what you call it - here in South Africa it's called a Happy Hugger) and i used to put it across from my bottom to the front to ease the feeling. Or maybe something cool, like a ice-pack wrapped in a towel would be better. I also thought I had a bladder infection. I went to a Urologist and he was the one who said it's not an infection but that the nerves get confused as they all lie very closely together done there! So yes, I guess it's the inflammation/ referral discomfort that is causing this.
Laura I hear you. Funny, I'm also getting my period in the next couple of days
But this pulling/weeing thing has been for the last month or so... maybe a little worse now, leading up to my period. Quincy's suggestion of antispasmodics is good but aren't we banned from using things like that due to the effect on the intestines? I know I'm never allowed to take tablets like Voltaren etc...
Feel better x
