Throat question

I have had weird stuff in my throat yes, not sure how to explain it, but made it hard to initiate to swallow water, as if it wanted to go down the wrong pipe, but more solid food didn't have a problem. It come and go then so far went away for long time.

interesting. I've had a 'tickle' in my throat for 2 months now. about once a year for the past 3 years I'd get a really bad sore throat that would slowly go away after a few weeks. This time it has lingered longer. Really kicks in at night 10pm onwards, and is much better today than 8 weeks ago. Dr thought it was post nasal drip related. We tried Z-Pack a few weeks ago. Have been doing Neti pot and sometimes Claritin/24 hour. Headed back to Dr next week. TCM also added something to his teas to help.

Have you found anything that works? In the past I have tried:

liquid Guaifenesin w/ codeine - didn't help
Z-Pack - Antibiotic Zithromax (Azithromycin) 250mg for 5 days - helps, but doesn't rid
Some liquid stuff from Henrys/Whole Foods - doesn't seem to help

I had a bad thrush (yeast) infection in my throat, mouth and chest that caused me to have a sensation like I had something stuck in my throat right below my adams apple. It was believed that the Remicade is what caused it

I literally just went into the doctor for this earlier this week. Basically an odd feeling throat developed into a persistent sore throat for about 2 to 3 months for me. (Like that of a cold) I decided to go in and the ENT checked out my throat with a scope and saw that it was very irritated all up into my nasal cavity. She said I had this weird form of acid reflux called LPR and gave me a couple more medicines to take for a couple months. Prilosec and Zantac. Woohoo, more medicine. But at least this sore throat will soon be gone (I hope). My parents are also basically forcing this aloe down my throat every day because apparently it helps majorly. Maybe something to look into.
