I bought the book too. I thought it was an interesting read, but I think he goes a bit off the deep end. It's great the diet worked for him and supposedly for others as well, but I would have a really hard time with it, I am not a meat loving carnivore by any means, but I also don't think a vegan diet is for me. The one thing I did take from the book and try was the juice fast, which did bring about
a change in my symptoms, for the better. Then after gradually adding back some other solid foods, I felt like I could better see results of individual foods I put back in my diet. I lost about
10 lbs doing this, however, and I was pretty skinny to begin with.
I would be interested to hear if anyone else here has read this book or tried anything from it, and what other experiences have been. Every body is so different with this disease, or so it seems, and I guess different things work for different people.
