I need to vent...Well, every year this time I flare like clockwork. I can set my watch to it. Today, I officially came out of remission. Hopefully it don't last too long. I knew this was bound to happen, because I am currently in a arthritic flare up also

I am sorry you're feeling a flare coming on. I hope you can get it under control quickly. Vent away if you need to, we all understand. :)

Thanks. I am having a real bad time of it for the last couple of months with joint pain, and inflamation all over my body. Now, I guess the inflamation decided to hit my colon.

The Humira isn't working for both or are you not on it anymore?

@ Jan, enquiring minds want to know, how long did YOUR remission last? Did you stop taking an Anti-Inflam during your said Remission?
Hope your flare is as quick and pain-free as possible :/

@ Jan, Odd, my UC, has decided to (knock on wood) to hit back burner. I've been having having the agonizing Joint Pains Muscle Aches, Spasms, Restless Legs, & Insomnia.
You must be bedridden now :(

Janice....sad to hear this nice reprieve has taken a back(side) slide...
I thought the Humira might help with your arthritis....are you on any meds for that?
Could you start the rectal meds and maybe that will help you so that it won't head full-blown.
Hope you get relief soon and that your arthritis can get under control as well. What meds are you on for that?
