There's really no need to do that! If you're too tired to be bothered with learning a new diet, just order the low fodmap cook book (irresistables for the irritable, or gluten free cooking etc. by sue shepherd (she is the dietician who invented the diet from her research)) and make the recipes in it!
While you're waiting for the book just eat porridge(oat bran/ rolled oats) with sugar or maple syrup, vegies & rice & meat/chicken/fish, salads, nuts;
cut out wheat and onion and honey, and you're well on your way!
Basically a traditional asian diet doesn't really have fodmaps/ fructose, if you can cook an asian stir fry you can go low fodmap.
