Tattoo while flaring...

Has anyone gotten a tattoo while flaring?  I'm not interested in waiting until I feel good - it's been 3 years on and off of sickness and I haven't been able to get it.

I currently have a small black tattoo, and got this before I had UC.  I have a little concern about a reaction to a second tattoo.  This one would be a bit bigger, just black.

Any advice or suggestions?

I was thinking about getting a tattoo as well and I was wondering the same thing. I would imagine it wouldn't be a big deal so long as you can sit in the chair long enough to make progress. When I am flaring, sometimes I am up and down so often, I don't think I would be able to stay still long enough to get anywhere.

I wonder if 5ASAs are OK, I know you're not supposed to take Asprin due to increased bleeding.

I had one last year while flaring...no reaction other then slower healing due to 6mp :) Turned out great!

I guess I need to look into the medication issues just to make sure. I didn't think about increased healing time.
