Hi

Does anyone know if helicobacter pylori is related with uc just found out i have this bacteria in my stomach and its causing ulcers

I had H. Pylori before being diagnosed with UC. I was taking antibiotics for it and killed all my gut flora and 3 months later I was diagnosed. I don't think they are connected. It's an infection anyone is prone to. You should get it taken care of soon though because the bacteria is considered a carcinogen.

My doctor has put me on the nexium hp7 and I'm having a grastroscopy along with a colonoscopy in two weeks. What was your Bactria reading mine was 1349
