Hello folks,
I was wondering if anybody had negative experience with generics of Colazal or Imuran. If you have, could you please state the manufacturer and the pharmacy you bought it from? Usually I use Rite-Aid but if they don't stock good quality of these generic medications, I am willing to change. I don't think I can afford to pay $100 co-pay for Colazal or Imuran for a long time.
Many thanks in advance.

I use the generic form of Imuran. I use Stop and Shop pharmacies and have never had a problem with my medication at all. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Mylan 6750 is what my Balsalazide says on the capsule, pastel orange. I've been taking it for 2 years or so and never had any side effects. I've never taken Colazal so can't comment on that.
I took a generic of 6mp I think and had bad side effects from that and no improvement so quit that over 2 years ago and stated Balsalazide. I have to say that diet mod. gave me better results than any med I've ever taken except mesalamine enemas have always been helpful.

I had been taking the generic forms of both for some time. Colazal for five years and Imuran for about
three years. I get my medications from Rite-Aid as well. The manufacturer of both is Mylan. I didn't have any problems with either. They just quit working about
a year ago and I ending up having surgery about
6 weeks ago because no other medications would work.
