wow great topic!! I wish I was original, my name is Beth and I was born in 1975.....so Beth75 I use this on another board as well.

Skidder - I just noticed you posting and I am watching a new series called falling skies and the aliens are called skidders, so I was wondering if that's where that came from, guess not.

I am a sci fi junkie!

Sam, I just got another tattoo while I was on vacation. My first one was last year - a butterfly on my ankle - that one hurt a bit. But the new one is on my shoulder, didn't hurt at all - it's two butterflies with streamer's on their rear wings, one of them have the purple ribbon (that signifies hidden diseases). But I don't know if I could ever get up enough nerve to have one on my foot! lol You're a brave girl! :)

Mine name came from well.... being really sick and truly not living at all outside my apartment to getting a diagnosis and getting better... so I am now living again. It literally robbed me of all of the things I used to do.. league volleyball, wildlife rescue, socializing with friends, road trips..etc
And I too had different mental pictures of you guys by your screen names and was way off... LOL
I think you are all a great group of people, I enjoy this forum greatly!!

BITW: That's why I added (antha) at the end of my name. I used to have another username on here and it was less obvious that I was a female cuz Sam can be boy or girl.

My name is pronounced shh-vawn. Or some variation of that. But not chevon. That's the English way of pronouncing my name. And Sherry you're right!

Yeah, I've had people call me sio-bo-han. I just smile and internally call them edjits.

I think I have a different username on every site, but I picked this one because I saw a cute glass pipe in the shape of an elephant and I had to have it. It's like art and it's really neat.
And about tattoos, I've always wanted one, and people ask me to design tats for them, but I just can't decide what I want. So far I've only gotten piercings. I kinda want more, but my boyfriend doesn't want me to. We'll see =p

I guess I saw fruitgirl and kinda copied her, but Guate, since I'm from Guatemala. However, after baptizing myself, I started to realize the "girl" portion of my life is kinda over......

Well my screen name is because I'm hopeful for UC.  Don't know why I got UC, probably antibiotics treating complexion issues for 18 months probably killed all the good guys!  Anyway, I'm just hopeful...really have a positive outlook, but UC really can get to a person!

Mine is based off of my favorite hobby: Collecting American Girl dolls. AGT13 is the original code for the American Girl of Today (the modern dolls, now called "My American Girl") #13, which has brown hair and brown eyes, like me. I started using it after I found out that it's almost never taken, unlike some of my other usernames, and it has nothing to do with my real name, so I don't have to worry about that.

My daughter had an American Girl doll. She loved her to pieces! But *sigh* she grew up and out of her :(

My previous cat (female) was named Quincy...always loved that name..and yes..it was during when Quincy ME was on TV.

I put my name in my siggie because the males on here were calling me mate. As well, some on here assumed I was a doctor...uh, no.

Sherry..foot tattoos or leg tattoos will definitely hurt while healing, and yes..during the process depending on where it's placed. I don't have a foot one, per se..I have a leg one that goes down a bit onto the top part of my foot. I wish it went down more...(hmmm..lol)

Babe and hateUC..I assumed each the opposite of what you are...interesting. There were clues, however, for clarification.
Some we definitely cannot tell based on username.

Oh I always liked this topic when we've had it before... It was actually this topic a while back that inspired me to change my user name. Originally I used my initials and year I joined HW but that was sooooooo boring, I hated it right from the beginning and wished I'd thought of something more interesting. So when I decided to change it, I put more thought into a word that would really express me - what I want out of life. "Serenity" was it, not only for the sake of my UC (since stress has a big impact) but my life overall. Well, it turns out the name "Serenity" was already taken, so I'd have to add a number. I was reluctant to do that and instead recalled my favourite Seinfeld episode.... "Serenity Now!!"
