Colonoscopy Tomorrow

I'm so stupid. I have to be at hospital and 1.50 pm tomorrow for a colonoscopy and so I'm doing the prep today. I wasn't supposed to eat anything after 1pm today and I totally forgot and ate an orange at 9.50pm tonight. Do you think I will still be able to have the colonoscopy. I don't know whether to just keep quiet and not tell the doctors or should I be honest? Will they send me home without doing it?

I think you should mention it, just to be on the safe side.
What did you eat? Was it a heavy meal?

No, I only ate an orange, nothing else. The last time I ate before that was 12.30pm

You should still mention it. The reason they have you do a clear liquid diet/fast is so the fecal matter will have a chance to clear from your digestive tract. If the scope is unclear, you may have to repeat the procedure.
