Vomiting

I'm going through a flare and I've never thrown up during one before. I threw up at least 3-4 times this morning along with the regular symptoms of a flare. Is this normal?

I have had a few really bad ones that made me vomit.

I hate that nauseated feeling that eventually leads to vomiting. Only happened during my flares and it's usually right before having a bad BM.

I haven't had a flare in so many years but this one is a doozy. I did vomit one night but it seemed like it coincided with the severe cramping - in other words, it was really the abdominal pain level which made me vomit. Guess it's not so rare.

Stinks when it comes from both ends though!

Coop, that sounds like acid reflux. Are you on any PPI's such Zantac or Prilosec?

Well I have never vomited, but when I get a severe cramp while having a BM, my stomach feels like it's churning and I have a sensation of wanting to vomit. I didn't know anyone else experienced this. When I mentioned it to my doc he looked at me like I was an alien.

I described it as feeling like my intestines are being twisted, or rung like a wet rag.

I noticed I usually only get these cramps when I have really soft BM's... which is about 85% of the time.
