I just went through this myself. Our power was off and on for a week because of Irene, and my Humira sat in a non-functioning fridge for several hours on two occasions. I was concerned that it may have gone "bad," so I called the Humira hotline. They told me to call my insurance company to find out if I had a "one-time override for replacement medicine benefit." I did have this benefit, so my pharmacy just had to call the insurance company to get me another pen. The woman I spoke to on the hotline seemed to imply that the Humira manufacturer would "take care of it" if I didn't have this benefit. I figured that I was better safe than sorry. Now I will be more conscious of things and take it to a friend's house with a functioning fridge as soon as the power goes out (although that will be a pain!).
