Some of you may know that I have been pregnant in the past and have miscarried. The last pregnancy lasted almost 8 weeks, but the baby measured 6 weeks when I was suppose to be 7 weeks 1 day. Well, I recently got pregnant, and this one lasted longer. During this pregnancy, my doctor completely discovered the reason for my miscarriages. I almost lost the baby 2 weeks ago, but he fought to stay. But, by the time I almost reached 9 weeks, the baby couldn't fight to stay alive. :( I just found out today that I lost the baby today. Thankfully the discovery of my miscarriages have been found and hopefully it can be fixed. My UC is not the cause what so ever. I was actually in remission during the pregnancy. :)

So sorry that you have had to endure these miscarriages.  I hope that with resolving the problem you will be able to have a healthy pregnancy soon!

Take care. That does sound promising if UC is not the cause. / Old Hat (30 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

So sorry to hear about your miscarriages - that is so heartbreaking.

Glad your doctor discovered the reason for the miscarriages.

I wonder did your doc ever talk to you about a procedure called "cervical circlage"?

I've read some good info on it.

We haven't discussed anything yet, maybe my next appointment we will discuss the next step.
