I've gone to 5 GI Doctors and only Dr Goldstein believed in the FT's. I even called a bunch of GI Doctors all over the country to see if any would do the fecal transplant via colonoscopy and I was pretty much laughed at by all of them. Doctors in the US are trained to treat symptoms not cure illness. All 5 of the other GI doctors I saw also never believed that my diet could effect my colitis. Even though I told them repeatedly certain foods made me ill and still do. I am still going to stay on the Makers Diet and I'm still going to stay on Lialda. The symptoms I still have a mainly food related. If I eat carbs, sugar, alcohol, coffee, nuts, seeds, corn, and other things it still hurts me right away. Also my Bowel Movements are still more frequent than normal but not crazy like before. They all depend on my diet. Its weird, I can still tell I have colitis but I feel really good. Best I've felt in 7 months. If anyone reading this wants to see my colonoscopy pictures from before and after send me an email at jeremy at jasherlynch dot com and I'll send over a PDF.
They are amazing to see.
BTW I had sever pan-colitis before the FT. And I have to say that after I added Grapefruit Seed Extract to my regimin my health skyrocketed. Apparently the GSE helps promote fecal flora growth and strengthening. That combined with the FT had to have done the trick.
