Liz33,
Welcome to the forum Liz.
Breakfast IMO is very important, it sets the tone for the day, and alerts your brain you'll be giving it what it needs.
I start my day with a protein shake (Dr. Mercola's Pro-Optimal Whey Protein, from grass fed, no antibiotics, no hormones cows), mixed with almond milk, maca powder, l-glutamine 15 grams for colonic repair, chia seeds for omega 3, d-ribose 5g, liquid minerals and liquid vitamins. Not only does it tastes great, but it's very soothing to my gut, and very nutritious.
I see you are gluten, dairy, wheat free - which is great. But it doesn't sound like you're getting enough protein or good fats in your diet.
That's my concern. Did you know that being dairy free still means you can have butter? Butter is high in butyrate -which is great for the colon.
What do you think?
