MyUC here, update on me!

Hi All.  It's been a while since I have posted.  I thought about it and I didn't want to be selfish.  The kind of person that comes here when I need you all and the kind that dissapears when they feel well.  So here is an update.  I have been doing great.  I have been using 100 mg of Imuran, down from my original 200 mg.  I also use Canasa suppositories every other night.

I go #2 about once a day.  That's about it.  A little extra gas here and there.  No urgency to speak of.  I might see a spot of blood once in 2-3 weeks but it goes away with a little canasa.  My blood work has been spotless. 

Just wanted to keep in touch with all of you.  All of you have been there for me at one time or another.  I love this site.  Many people have contacted me using my personal e-mail and I think I have been helpful to those that have reached out to me.  Again thank you to this site and to all of you.  This place has not only been informative but has pulled me through some of my darkest times.

Glad you're doing well! All is also well with "my" UC (haha!). I'm dealing with an anal fistula that resulted from a perianal abscess, but it appears it was unrelated to the UC and was instead plain bad luck/family history (several family members have had them).

     Glad to hear you are doing well.  Keep up the good work.  Wish you lived in south Jersey, I could use a good dentist..lol.

Sounds like you found your groove.....hope it continues!!

I guess I am considered an "old face" or a regular around here.  Good to know.  It makes me proud to be a member here.  Yeah things are going great and i seemed to have found my groove.  I try to be an example of previous bad colits gone right.  Good to keep in touch.

I plan on sticking around if it's OK with you all of you.
