Hi all! Having a flex sig Monday at 2:30. The scheduler said "no prep." I said are you sure?? Did 2 fleet enemas last time. She put me on hold, checked w/ my GI's assistant, and said no prep.
How will they see anything?? Anyone else ever done flex sig no prep?

Maybe they'll just give you an enema in the office. That's how I got my first flex sig, since I failed the prep.

I have always done 2 fleets prior to the sig but perhaps kazbern is right & you will do them in the office.

I have had two flex-sigs with no prep. No enemas at the office/hospital either. Not unusual to me.

^So glad to hear that! Was starting to worry would get there Monday and they would turn me away! It is in the outpatient center below their office. I called his assistant one more time and she said no prep.
Did you take your normal meds that day? My scope isn't until 2:30 and I do humira and rest of my meds in the am.

I've done one with no prep. Yes, I took my normal meds that day.

Yes, I took my meds. At my last sig flex, I only had 1.5 hours notice, so I really didn't do anything special that day. I ate, drank and took meds as normal.

I had a flex sig earlier this year and there was no prep at all.
