Hi everyone

I've had UC for about 2 years now. I'm on my 3rd treatment of remicade but my symptoms are still here. almost constant bloating/gas, pain, fatigue and a very frequent urge to go.It worries me because of how extreme my dr said that the remicade treatment is. it is consistently worse in the mornings and gradually eases up after 12 or 1. is that normal? I'm starting the scd-diet today. hope that helps.

any suggestions?

I am sorry you're feeling bad. I have heard of people having varied reactions to remicade. Some see results right away, others, it can take a few infusions before they see results, others never see great results... Are you on any other medication? Have you tried rectal steroids or mesalamine enemas? Have you ever been on prednisone? Do you take probiotics? I tried the SCD diet without much improvement but different things work for different people, give it some time, I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully you begin to see better results after your next infusion of Remicade.
