Fecal transplant on Colbert Report.

There was a funny spot on The Colbert Report about fecal transplant. Of course being a comedy show they made it sound much worse than it really is. However, the point is that it's starting to get spotlight. The transplant was done at Mt. Sinai hospital in NYC. Thought it would be interesting to share.

That is interesting. Was it for treating c diff?

I've seen that clip they used once before but I can't place it... it may have been on MSNBC. Regardless, loved Colbert's commentary and the fact that fecal transplant is gaining notoriety among the general public, not just forward-thinking IBDers!

Oh, and yes I believe it was for C-diff

Oh wow thats my go to hospital. Are they doing it regularly or was this just a one time thing?

NVM Just read sconnie comment saying it was for c-diff. :-/
