I live less than a half a mile from an active dairy farm, moved there in 1979 UC 1980. No one else in the area that I know happens to have IBD,except for my son. But then again I was exposed to a girl who had Crohn's when I was 18, who knows.
If you really want to look for a cause of IBD start looking about 1910 when chlorination first started, then work your way through the years, refrigeration, toothpaste, antibiotics,Crisco, margarine, loss of minerals in the soil, chemicals, pesticides, canned food, frozen food, vaccines, indoor plumbing and a million other things, again who knows.
