Who carries VSL#3?

I checked with Walmart & Costco and they don't carry VSL#3. I'm just trying to find a place first that actually carries it so when I go to my doc's i can get it prescribed. Has anyone had success with it?

I believe that both Walmart and COSTCO both have to order VSL#3 DS for you. But you'll need a doctor's script for it, and then they'll order it and call you when it comes in (and when you pick it up it should have been refrigerated, if it's NOT, then don't take it because it means it's been compromised).

As far as regular VSL#3, you'll have to call your local COSTCO and have them order it for you as well. But why not get the VSL#3 DS, unless your insurance won't cover it?

stereo, insofla is right. you have to ask them to order it. most pharmacies don't carry it because apparently it's not that popular. i only get vsl#3, not DS, but they are always happy to get it for me. i didn't even have a Costco membership and they still let me get it. maybe cuz i'm a cute, young girl but who knows?? haha the cheapest place i've found it is Target. it's only $69 for 30 packets of regular vsl#3 and they get shipments in really fast. at Costco, it can take a whole week for it to get there. another good thing about Target is that they price match.

It was the best deal I could find and it was shipped directly from the manufacturer and came on ice within a few days.
My local Target pharmacy wanted to charge me way too much...

Well, this last month's been an uphill battle but I seem to finally be in remission with my UC - thanks largely to all of your great advice. I find, though, that in order to stay in remission, I have to maintain this horrible, virually fiberless low residue diet. I'm trying to find ways to get fruits and vegetables in without the fiber. I've tried juicing veggies but don't really like the taste, time, or expense. I was thinking about vitamins. Has anyone tried Juice Plus vitamins? I have a friend who's been trying to get me to buy them for years! I've heard it's a scam, though. Anyone know if it's worth it for people who cannot get the nutrients from fruits and veggies any other way? Also, does anyone know about Aloe Vera juice? Is it helpful? Thanks!

Balsalazide Disodium 750 mg: 3 capsules, 3X day

Omeprazole 20 mg./day
