I am sure there are a lot of parents here with kids who have UC. Please reply to my post "Is Azathioprine commonly used for children with UC". I am looking to connect with parents who are/were in the same boat as me. You help and insight will help me decide for my child. Why did your Dr choose 6MP? Did he feel that Azathioprine was not safe?

Is he okay now after stopping the med. How old was your son when he took this med. So how long did he take the med before this happened, few weeks/months?
