zinov,
Sorry zinov, but whoever you spoke with is terribly misinformed!
Naltrexone is used to treat alcohol and drug addicted patients at doses of 75mg +, not LDN (low dose naltrexone) which is given at doses of 1.5mg, 3.0mg, and 4.5mg - that's a HUGE difference.
There's been research on how LDN has helped many go into remission, and then there's plenty of people on this very forum, including me, who have gone into remission as a direct result of LDN.
Do some research on LDN - low dose naltrexone, you can search this forum as they are several threads on this. I can tell you it works!
Here's the Penn State research done by Dr. Jill Smith with LDN and Crohns Patients.

You are apparently speaking to people who know nothing about LDN, and are biased towards big pharma drugs only.
LDN makes you constipated??? Give me a break, what BS.
Zinov, I feel for you, but you are being pushed around by the medical system and doctors, but you have to do what's right for you.
Good luck.
