Hi guys, my question is how can you tell what is 'causing what symptoms? Sometimes I'll get sick but not sure if it's what I ate for lunch, or for breakfast, or the previous day that 'caused it... or the pint of ale I had in the pub, or the argument I had with my girlfriend, or the ibuprofen I took - or none of this at all? I've tried keeping a food diary but I just seem to lose track.
I just went for 8 days only eating soft fruit (melons, banana etc), yoghurt (probiotic), rice and soft, cooked veg, and skipping out all bread, gluten, raw veg, salad, spicy food etc, aswell as skipping all caffiene, alcohol, fizzy drinks etc. I was still bleeding and still feeling like cr*p so I packed this in. Now I feel even worse, but I was getting worse anyway? How do I know whether or not the food and drink is to blame?
It's the not knowing that really pisses me off, I never know whether or not I'm making myself poorly or it's just happening to me. If I knew for a fact that by giving up all my favourite food and drink I would get better, then fine, I'd do it happily, but I don't want to deprive myself of everything I enjoy and not even know if it's helping me or not.
Any advice?
