Good study. Is it the sun, Vitamid D levels or something else. If you have UC and live in the south you may be a low producer of vitamin D. Believe IBD is higher yet in Canada. There is a curret thread on vitamin D.

Interesting that the above article mentions poor diet and the inability to metabolized cholesterol into vitamin d.
