I'm sure this has been posted before but what are your go to foods in a flare? So far it's chicken soup for me today.
Do any of your foods help you feel better?

pizza, veggie burgers, and hummus. thats all i've been eating lately. i'd say they help with making a lot less trips to the bathroom. i usually eat a high fiber diet of fruits, greens and veggies, but during flares, it's really helpful for me to stay away from that.

seasons, i only eat pizza when i am flaring haha it has a lot of calories and it's not a lot of food. i make it with a vegan crust, a little evoo and tomato sauce, and some vegan cheeze.

I found it really challenging to stay on a particular diet during a flare while bleeding because the Prednisone was making me so hungry. I craved sweets to no end and then I would get down on myself for eating so much bad food. I tried to stick to chicken soup, rice, applesauce and crackers in the beginning but found that as long as I ate small, frequent meals I would avoid feeling so bloated. I also switched from fat-free milk to almond milk. I was surprised that it had fewer calories and more Calcium and Vitamin D than regular milk.
