Brown pee?

Of course, morning pee is more concentrated if you haven't had any water since the evening before.
I wouldn't say it's UC related.

You should still get checked out with, initially, a urine sample. Call the doc today and request to go and give one and have it checked.
Even if the urine isn't darker when you go, it'll still show if there's blood or infection or high protein, etc.

I remember you mentioned your hornones are very up and down...it's possible that can have something to do with sensitivity. But, the only way to know is to have your urine checked.

If there's anything funky going on, the doc can easily do blood tests for kidney and liver.

I'd be gooing to the doctor ASAP...it could be a bad bladder infection or an array of other issues...best to get it checked out right away.

i have only had dark pee from getting IV iron infusions. the iron pills make it more orange. my doctors told me this was pretty normal, but if i had dark pee just randomly, i'd be concerned.

WHAT? go to the ER NOW. Brown pee means your kidneys and liver could be shutting down. This just happened to me in feb. Things can get bad and shut down and you can die.

Im going to the clinic today (hope they have a spare space) and anyway i need to do anual blood test.
I havent seen brown pee yesterday and today and funny enough im on asacol.

However im going to add to the list for the blood test for the kidneys and livers to be checked.

Sibby yes ive been having lower back pain but if you had the mattress we were given when we rent that flat you would blame the mattress first!

Well quincy im still not working so have plenty of time and on the other hand the clinic is just at the end of my street. And the hospital around 5 minutes walk. Lucky as well.

However the worst drivers ive seen are form Montreal, no kidding. Some serious road rage there and dangerous moves.

Amber or tea colored urine is often a sign of blood in the urine. The colour can also be due to recent digestion of beets or rhubarb. Your doctor will do a very easy urine test to determine the cause. In my case, the color is blood and due to kidney stones stuck in a ureter. Kidney stones are not uncommon with long-term ucers. I use Flomax to help pass the kidney stones.
I hope your doctor identified the problem and you are not in any pain.

Ok well I just saw my doctor now.

She gave me anti biotics for an UTI for 3 days and asked for blood and urine samples.
She said by the time I do my anti biotics the tests results should come through.

Never thought asacol pills made your urine darker. The pills are quite brownish as well. It makes sense. We will see but at least the latest next week ill know what happened. I just love my nurse practitionner.

What antibiotics did she give you? Because 3 days don't seem enough to me, at least 5 days are necessary for Ciprofloxacin or Azithromycin. Drop a line here with the results, I am very curious (as it honestly sounds little scary)

BTW, with the drivers, come down to NYC, really impatient ones.

     This happened to me once a long time ago when I first started taking Colazal.  I took a sample into my doctor's office and although the pee was brownish in color, all the results were normal .  Go figure.  Definitely get to the root of the problem.  I never did find out what happened either....I started to drink more water after that episode.

On the serious side of things, brown urine can be a sign of your liver shutting down from disease like cancer. It's probably not that, but just FYI.
