Hey guys,
I am wondering if any of you have tried the "red light therapy" beds for UC? I stumbled into this red light therapy information and started to inquire more into it... a tanning salon close by has one and alot of people say it helps with healing, and soreness in joints.. and it is supposed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and promote circulation...
Has anyone tried this? Does it help with possible healing for UC?

I am not thinking so much "cure" but it says it promotes faster healing to injuries and so on, so wondering if that could be helpful in helping heal any part of UC? Or maybe help with the PH balancing of the body?

This sounds quite plausible. I know there's a
Red Light
district not far from where I live with lots of
beds
so I'll definitely give it a try.
Who knows, I might just like it...

I think Mackster and I thought the same thing when we read this post title. I immediately thought about
Red Light Districts and had a chuckle about
the "healing powers" of what's offered in them! :)

Well,
I went to check it out on Friday.... and it seems relaxing no doubt.. but I'd rather be laying down than standing up for 10-12 minutes. It is a stand up type of bed and it has those red lights all around you. The strange part of this experience was that the floor shook, it is called a vibra-shake platform and that supposedly will tone your core muscle and leg muscles while you are in there.(???) I didn't really feel the "burn" on the toning part but there are 4 levels of intensity and I was doing good to not fall down on level 1 lol so that may be why I didn't feel toned when I got out. :)
I am not sure of the potential healing properties it claims! I didn't feel "revived" or "renewed" as they all claimed I would, I felt hot and tired from trying to not fall down for 10 minutes haha. Thinking it is not worth 100 bucks for sure!

I found LT in general works well but must be done a certain way to be effective. I describe the process here
