Just a small update here. I had no bowel movement at all yesterday but had cramps. Today, I woke up and headed to the washroom for my first bm. It was half solid, half broken up but there was no blood in the toilet nor on the toilet paper. The cramps lessened after my trip to the washroom. It's only been 2 nights of the Salofalk and I've had bms with no blood before. I'm having cramps in my waist area which I never had before though but they are manageable. A little bit of walking seems to ease the cramps out.
One thing I noticed is when I sat on the toilet, I passed gas that dropped clear fluid into the toilet. Did I not absorb the suppository last night properly? I'm hoping that clear fluid was something else and not the suppository, cause it would suck to take lessons on how to insert rectal meds, lol. If you need to know how I take them to answer, I squat down a little, push the suppository in and usually when my finger gets real close to the
opening, the muscle pulls the suppository in. I will
never get used to that feeling. It always feels like its still dangling down or that will drop out. My dad reassured me that once it gets pulled in, it's not going out. Of course, UP isn't enough for me, I also have (just noticed) an external hemorrhoid which contributes to the discomfort of inserting the suppository.
