Still no improvement

Hi everyone,

My partner has been given 10 days for the steroids to work and then its back to hospital.

There seems to be no improvement.

This illness is coming between us cry

Steroids dont work for me either but its not the end, theres plenty of other options to try next.

Sorry to hear it. But like Ju said, steroids aren't the answer for alot of us.

It didn't work for me, and neither did any of the other meds.

What other options has your partner been given?

Nothing really, he just has to see if the steroids work before being sent back to see his consultant.

He's got a bloated face and is constipated now, but there is still some blood.

What dose is your partner taking?

Don't let this illness come between you two. You do a great job. You're there for your partner and that's most important. Keep it up.

He's on 8 pred a day.
