My Gi said to me, "Let's see what Dr Lictenstein has to say. " People come from all over the world to see him." "You're only an hour and a half away from him so let's see what he has to say. It won't hurt to get his opinion." Where I am at with my colitis, I'm on the verge of trying humira. I just had my PPD done which was negative for TB also had some stool samples tested for various things. c-diff is negative, the rest I haven't heard from yet. I still have bleeding, my stool continues to be soft to watery I refuse to take prednisone...tooo toxic for me. I'm just wondering what this top GI man is going to tell me that no one else has. I'm thinking no too much. And he'll say continue with the plan of care and it'll all be a waist of my time. BUT I'll go to hear him out. JUst wondering if anyone else has been to him and if he helped them in any way.
