@disneynut66- EXACTLY! I immediately thought it was my pancrease and/or liver. My pain just stopped since I didn't take my dose last night. As I just mentioned to 'notsosicklygirl', I'm really thinking it's the Imuran and NOT my gallbladder. It's just too coincidental. I haven't eaten yet, but I can't imagine the pain getting as bad as it was yesterday even if I eat. Ok, another question for you.. how do they do this 'anal mammography' test? Is it like an imaging type of test? To be honest, I don't really care at this point what they have to do though... I'm definitely going to talk to her about
surgery this week. I will let you know what she tells me... I just keep thinking that I should (as you also said) have it done while I'm still young and strong. And in my case, as was yours, it's inevitable.
Yes, boyfriend isn't much to lean on but I can talk to my mom. She is very ill with many different health related problems. So she wouldn't be able to come over and physically help me at all.
I had a 35 hour labor too, but ended up with a c-section. In fact, both boys were c-section babies so childbirth hasn't affected any of 'those' muscles.
I have another question- when I had my latest surgery (as an example here), I had to have someone here to actually pull me up from a laying down position and then to help me lay down, etc.... Would I need someone with me after this surgery? I had to have that assistance because they had to cut my abdomin to remove the uterus. They had to cut through the stomach muscles, etc. Is this surgery similar to that? What exactly could you do on your own when they sent you home? Or should I say, what couldn't you do on your own? I'm just wondering how much, or to what extent will I need help?
I so appreciate all of your input and information. I think you've pursuaded me to do what (in my heart) I've been wanting to do, or at least discuss with my doctor, but have been to afraid.
Thanks again!
