I've noticed my face is very puffy. Also I've gained 10lbs, but lost 5. I lost 5lbs is 5 days. I been having really bad dizzy spells. If I take extra vitamins & potassium & calcium I don't get dizzy. But I look like a big fat baby because of my face. When will it go away? Is there anything that will make it go away? I'm doing one steroid enema every other night. I'm fixing to do just half every other night & see how I do.

I also had puffy face from steroid enemas (even though you aren't supposed to...). Don't modify the enemas because of the puffy face. The only thing I've really heard about
diet and steroids (aside from counting calories) is to watch your salt intake as that makes you retain water. But if you are having dizzy spells I don't know if it's necessarily a good idea to go on a low salt diet.

The dr said I had fluid n my right ear. Yea, maybe but it wouldn't make me so dizzy that I want to puke. I'm sure it is a vitamin shortage of somekind.

You might be surprised what an ear problem can do to you. The fluid in your ear takes a small amount of time to actually move...then it hits your balance receptors in your ear. So your ears are saying you are moving a certain way but your eyes are saying you move a different way. The conflicting inputs cause dizziness (something similar happens to those who get car sick...their eyes see the inside of the car not moving but their balance receptors say they are moving).
Still keep your electrolytes and fluids up!

I had extreme vertigo, went to the doc, he said 2 things usually cause it, fluid in the ear or low blood pressure, mine was from low blood pressure. I was told to drink lots and lots of water.

Thank u. I noticed when I woke up this morning I was very dizzy. I took my blood pressure. It was pretty high. I am going to drink more water to see if that will help. My fingers are swollen when I wake up too.

I don't know about
rectal steroids, but I know for oral Pred in the past, it has taken a few months past my last dose for my moon face to go away. The more you're on it, though, the longer it takes to go away.
