As far as the teachers aid thing, I am way more patient at school than with my own kids, I am at a high school though. It,s fun to relearn everything and my kids actually trust me when I help them with their homework, math especially. Plus since I am not in charge I can just leave to go to the bathroom, which helps. Good luck, I loved working at the mall, just be careful, you might start shopping a little more than usual. The Christmas I worked at the mall was my kids best one ever!

Oh good for you! Hope it works out. I am still not bored with not working (I guess it's been nearly 4 years now! It has flown by), but if I ever do go back I think it would be what you call a "fluff" type of job as well. I sure don't need all the stress of my former occupation, I don't miss that AT ALL.

Can't wait to hear what happens with the interview!

Hmm well lets see, the last time I had a full time job was 15 years ago though I did do some temp jobs here or there for an account-temp office. You wouldn't think it but Payroll accounting is VERY stressful mainly because you are dealing with people's livelihoods; one slip up and all heck breaks loose! Not to mention I've had to dabble in Human Resources too - not my cup of tea.

I want a somewhat stress-less job, mingle with people and just get out. I feel I am healthy enough at this time to attempt it :)

Oh wow, congrats Sherry!! I recently got a job as well. it's amazing having your own money and being able to buy frivilous things without using anyone elses money or telling/asking anyone what you're buying. I've managed to build up quite a shoe collection since starting work.

Hope your interview goes great, Sherry! I'm so glad to hear that you feel good and are ready to serve the ladies at the makeup counter. Sounds like fun!
