I see no reason for anyone to change their signature to appease people who are diehard pessimists.
I refuse to accept the assumption that UC cannot be "cured".
It would be terrible to live without hope.
People have experienced cures for diseases such as cancer that were considered "terminal" by the medical establishment.
Have you never heard the phrase "self-fulfilling prophecy"?
I firmly agree ItsAlwaysSomething, and look forward to learning more about
what has helped ImCured.

The way some of you are communicating right now is hostile, DBwithUC. I'mCured has done nothing and said nothing to
provoke anyone. What's offensive is a blind reference to faith and positivity, and how these factors have helped members just like those using medications, though... wait --we shouldn't utter them? Bull. Some of you on the forums should reassess the way you are evaluating someone else's point of view, because it makes you look like you have self esteem issues. What some of you are communicating is that you cannot be happy for someone who has struggled so deeply, like yourselves, but has been awarded with positive results and has the drive to help others in a different way than you would, your own.
Accept that the word cure is a word, and that those who choose to use it in their situation, should never be accused of doing so. The reason people use this word is because they are saying, "No, I'm not a cancer survivor, I
had cancer." Stop worrying about
what a newbie would think, this has never been a problem.
