I do now, but it took me quite a while to experiment with grains. Oats, even before UC have always been wishy-washy for me. And my problem was that once I let myself have grains and sugar, I couldn't stop eating them. My doctor told me from the start to limit fibrous foods, because its like using a scrubby on your already inflamed gut. White rice instead of brown, no gassy veggies from the broccoli family, no sulfurous foods like onions/garlic for a while, and even mushroom and fruit because they feed fungi.
1-3 is a better number than what you were experiencing a few months ago right?
