I was recently
diagnosed, and it is very overwhelming in the beginning. Do some research, and
ask lots of questions. I am also looking into natural ways to aid me, but I
also understand that I will probably need to be on some meds to keep it under
control. The hardest thing I've found is, there are no definite answers with
this. There are no set diet, or meds, or natural thing that works for everyone,
you just need to start keeping track of what works for you.
Start with your diet
first, right now I am doing a more organic foods, and some gluten free stuff,
I've also added in coconut oil, amino acid, and omega 3,6 & 9. I also have
another supp coming, but the name escapes me at the moment. This seems to be
working for me, but may not be right for you.
I also keep a list of
foods that seem to trigger symptoms, for me spicy food, soy beans, and artificial
sweeteners seem to trigger it, but I am finding more each week. I just learn to
live without those, and it’s been helping me get closer to remission.
It’s a tough disease
for sure, but with some hard work, hopefully you can get it under control, it’s
just going to require you to be more aware of what your putting into your body. Hope this helps - Adam
