So, I've been doing bettersince the weekend...gave up my mesalamines (lialda & canasa), been taking cortenemas every night and anucort (hydrocortisone suppositories) every am.
I've added sunbutter and slippery elm too. I've also been keeping a food journal and exercising every day.
I've had little blood for the past 4 days (on tp not in stool)...so, yesterday, I decide (I think stupidly) to have some nuts (almonds and cashews). Boom, a lot of blood with clots this morning and lots of cramping.
I'm supposed to call the GI today with a progress report for the past 10 days, and this bums me out. Could something as simple as nuts do this?? I know, for me, salad and a gin & tonic can, but this?
Any comments or suggestions would be lovely. Thanks!
