I always try to do that but it feels unhealthy as others have posted.
As far as weightlifting its working at cross-purposes because part of the muscle re-building includes an inflammatory phase and we are taking all these meds for anti-inflammation so we stop the re-build phase dead in its tracks.
I tried but until I got off pred or down to 2.5 of 5.0 mg it was not effective.
Now that I have been off for a few weeks my body weight has not changed despite intense workouts because as I beef up I am also losing the pred belly.
I am 40 lbs below my max bodybuilding body weight and I am not a big guy to start with so I have a long way to go, 20 lbs would be considered a success. Hopefully by Christmas if I hydrate constantly and eat clean.
Something began to bother my GI, not sure if it was kre-alkalin. Creatine Monohydrate is a big no-no for UC. I returned to normal today so I may try it again in a few days and see if it is the problem.
