pain from uc

what pain meds do people take .the gis seam to only want to give you anti inflamitory meds but sometimes you need more.

I take ibuprofen for back pain but that's about it. I'm curious about this, too. Usually, with cramps, I just endure the pain.

Ibuprofen is not good for UC.

NSAIDs can promote intestinal bleeding and/or cause flaring therefore they should be avoided if you can help it. But for cramping from UC, you can take an anti-spasmodic or if the pain is different, you can ask your dr for Tylonel #3, Vicodin or Tramadol.
