Hold up NCOT, if you're to pull a typical pity party bus on this thread, you need to speak soley about
this topic inparticular. He did not PREACH about
a CURE. He said the difference between remission and cured is a state of mind for him. Take that into account, before you go on a selfish bout of rage.
He is implying that the word has a difference for him, and I am too. I'm not arrogant, what we are saying is that we do our best to not let crohns rule out lives like the first time. It doesn't mean we have absolute control over the physical aspects of disease. Mind you, disease is more than just the physical, its grueling on mental health. This is what he is referring to.

The trouble is, a 'healthy lifestyle' has replaced religion in modern societies to some extent - instead of finding purity and goodness through faith and worship of a god, some people find it through trying to be healthy or having low bodyfat instead. And some of those people in turn will start applying their standards of healthy living and 'clean' eating onto the rest of us - whether it's an enthusiastic promotion of their personal protocol or something darker and more insiduous, such as chunkerman's tirade of abuse against the overweight.
Alright, this is garbage. You need to get out more, sorry.
Don't think for a second I shouldn't take this as an insult like you claiming someone else's positive lifestyle change is an insult to your well being.
