Canasa, way expensive.

Just went to see a new Gastro doctor and he prescribed Canasa. The Balsalazide and 6 MP is expensive enough so I figured the Canasa would be near the same. Went to the Kroger pharamacy to get it filled and darn near had a heart attack when she told me it was more than $600 for thirty days worth at 1000mg. You've got to be kidding me! I told her not to fill it and she said she didn't blame me. And I have an HSA with United Health care. Mail in RX is $1,592.42 for three months worth, so it's no cheaper. Anyone else using Canasa and getting robbed like this?

Thanks for the link stereo. I may just bite the bullet and pay for a thirty day supply and see what happens. I've done the Mesalamine enemas before and it had no effect so I'm thinking it will be the same with Canasa. I'm hopping I get back into remission with what I'm currently taking like I have before.
