LadyoftheLake, if you have not explored diet modification, think about eliminating dairy, grains, sugar and soy from your diet. You might be able to eat them later.. but there is good reason to consider eliminating them. Research the FodMaps diet, hopefully it can get your inflammation down while you get the medical side of things figured out.

Im so sorry you are going through this and hope you get some relief soon.

I have tried the Colitis diet without much help, but it could be worse if I don't stay on it.

Which microscopic colitis exactly do you have?

and where in the colon is it?

Hi - I have collanganeous colitis. This is a very recent diagnosis,I was running to the bathroom 30 times a day and had fecal incontinence during the night. Now I'm on Endocort and it seems to be slowing things down, but I still don't trust myself to go out for too long. Being retired I was very active in my community, but my life has been on hold for the last 2 months.

The colitis diet doesn't seem to help too much,but I plan on staying on it. I'm hoping someone can help me to understand this disease and how to deal with it.
