New to site ... would like to get support

Hi JoRose, i really struggled at work too many accidents but I was lucky also not alot of stress at work only the stress of having UC, I did have alot of sick leave there for awhile. Also did not get caught by other workers in embaracing moments, so to me I found that lucky as I work mostly with men. Luckily I am in remission now and working is easier I normally look forward to going as it is exercise and adult company. I hope you find a happy medium or a job that has less stress as stress is one of my triggers good luck Jo.

Is there a disabled toilet you can used to be alone? and I have taken up reading on the toilet I know it sounds weird but when I had my lasst flare up I had trouble keeping in the Pred and salofaulk enemas as when i was laying down after inserting them i got anxious and would end up losing the lot in the toilet. But I found if I was on my side reading a good book (I have no taste I read vampire books but there are some really good writers out there, have not read books in years until recently an am about at book 40+ now which is a massive effort for me). When I got all my supplements from my naturopath I started from scratch again and got back in remission but I still read while on the toilet as it all works more naturally. lol It s all about what works for you.

If your disease is not in good control it seems that you need alternate options. has anyone talked to you about surgery? You are too young to be on disability and to be sick all the time. Actually, no one should have to suffer with this illness being resistant to treatment. Ask the folks on here about the surgeries they've had - maybe that's an option to consider.

Work is a struggle but not impossible. I recommend easing into it. Start with a part time gig and nothing too stressful. I'm always drawn to startups which are inherently stressful. Boundaries are important. =P

You should look at helping to stop the anemia by taking some good supplements such as vital greens a teaspoon twice a dayin a rice milk shake of 300mls and a supplement like ultrainflamx 1 scoup twice a day in the same shake whilst eating breakfast and evening meal. It would help your anemia and try eating some organic or free range chicken either thighs or breasts lightly boiled so they are still tender with steamed rice if you like broccili steamed with fresh ground black pepper and sea salt my naturopath said to stear clear of iodised salt gluten dairy red meat and pork deli meats canned food processed foods and tap water so I drink lots of good quality rice milk, spiralina, spring or filtered water, rice, turkey chicken free range or organic, fresh atlantic salmon poached ir sometimes fried no soft drink caffienne pizza or corn as they really set me off. I also take boswellia tablets and meta pure pha/dha both twice daily boswellia is a natural anti inflammitory but need to go to a naturopath andthe meta pure is good for the aches and pains it all seems to keep me in remission along with my strict diet and I am not taking any meds. I really dont want surgery unless I have exhausted all other options. If you want my naturopaths email address I am happy to give it to you as I have never been to see Janelle in person but she has saved me phsycally and mentally, mind you with alot of help from myself and will power. lol
I cannot take normal vitamins they help make me flare up I dont know why but I figured that out long before I got help from a naturopath. Metagenics make ultrainflamx and meta pure look it up on line.
I used to take Bio cuticals have spelt that wrong rejuven x but that was taken off the market when that happened I freaked out when my naturopath said it took me awhile to like ultrainflamx but it certainly works and that won me.
