Colonoscopy prep did I mess up?

I did the Miralax prep. You are supposed drink 8oz every 15 min. I wasn't paying attention to how long it was. I drink it Allen one hour instead of two hours. Is that going to mess anything up? Thank you

I don't even do the prep anymore lol.

Just don't eat at all for the day before.

They will use the colonoscope to clean areas that need cleaning.

I think you'll be ok.

if you drank all the prep, i'm sure you'll be okay. as somedude says, i haven't done a colonoscopy prep in my last 5 colonoscopies. it's so pointless if you have UC already- hello... endless diarrhea??

You drank it faster then you needed to? I wouldn't think that is a big deal unless you throw it up. I on the other hand always take longer to drink the prep because I know I will throw up if I drink it as fast as they want. I haven't had a problem either time I had a scope.

Yeah it usually takes me longer than they say too. I don't know how I did it in half the time. Thanks everyone

For my last prep, I didn't finish drinking the Miralax. I was to the point of puking and everything was coming out clear anyway. My GI didn't have a problem seeing all around on the inside. I think as long as your GI could do a proper scope, you're probably okay.

I drank all the Miralax in 2 hours. Just felt really full. You will be fine I'm sure. You don't taste anything but the Gatorade anyway. However, when I drank the 10 ounce bottle of magnesium citrate this morning most of that I did throw up. Really gross. Just cannot stand that stuff at all.
