O/T do we have any Vampire readers or followers of TV series

I am a Vampire Diary fan as I like the actor Ian Somerhalder who plays Damon Hawt-e!  My girlfriends got me onto True Blood hmm which is heaps better that Twilight.  But also started reading lately Vampire Novels, it totally keeps my mind of UC have read Vampire Diaries books whole series, The Argenue Series by Lynsay Sands which is AWESOME!  a new book released in about a week.  Am also reading Lara Adrians Vampire series which are also very good and have just started reading Keri Arthurs.  So am just wondering if there are any fans, I really started the books just to keep the enemas in when I was taking them morning and night around July last year when I had a very bad flare up.  Anyone like to share??  :)

Gf got me hooked on Vamp Diaries, seen every episode :). Also seen every episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel(spin off). True Blood seems a bit odd but in still trying to get hooked.

I tried watching Vampire Diaries but I couldn't get into it but I also love Being Human. I was a big Buffy and Angel fan too.

i'm a big twilight fan but haven't read/seen the others you have mentioned. my real obsession is harry potter.

Buffy is going on, only through graphic novels. Apparently Angel is human. Buffy is pregnant, and we don't know who the father is. Either blondey or darky.

I tried watching TB. Their accents bothered me. I like VD the show, but the novels are atrocious. I couldn't read 1/4 of the first book.

Harry Potter and The Hunger Games rule in our family (baby boomer mom, daughters 22 and 25). My 22 year old identified with HP the most, when it ended, she cried. Our tradition was for her to watch the newest HP movie at the midnight showing with friends and then go back the very next day to see with me. Oh how we adore Harry in this family! I've read the final HP book 3 times. But now my newest obsession is definitely The Hunger Games. Cannot wait for Catching Fire to premiere in November.

Was hooked on True Blood until we lost that cable channel. Now I am totally addicted to the Walking Dead. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would like that show!

I've never watched the Vamp Diaries, but from the commercials, your guy is a real hottie!

I used to be a rabid, diehard, obsessed Lost fan. Sometimes I wonder if I should have been watching Walking Dead. Sounds as if it attracts similar type fans. I guess it wouldn't be too late for me to get into WD?

Side note, the author of the books that led to True Blood, Charlaine Harris wrote a 4 part series titled the Harper Connelly series. Just read all 4 books and noticed she had something to do with the True Blood scripts?

awesome we may all have different tastes but the escapism is great.  I also like being human have only seen the english version, twilisght is ok, haven't gotten into the walking dead but am an old fan of buffy and angel he is hot!! used to like watching a series called moonlight until it got canned.  Sad Jeremy has died in Vampire Diaries .....

I really, really love reading vampire novels. Have u read any House of Night Novels? Author is P.C. & Kristin Cast. I love them!! There are also some novels called the Carpathians. They are very adult, wink, wink. But really good. If u haven't read Brahm Stroker's Dracula give it a try. There are some good books about the real story behind Count Dracula. The man's name was Vlad the Impaler. He had some castles u can look up on the internet too. Blue bloods is a very good set of novels too. If u can't tell I loooove vampire stuff. The old school stuff by Anne Rice are great!! Happy reading!!

No I have not read them, but will check it out next time I am at the library love my Vamp novels thank you.
