Pink eye?

I got pink eye twice last summer. Those are the symptoms I had. Red eye, draining, swollen. I went to my eye doctor for drops. If you wear contacts make sure you toss them.

Whatever it is...you should probably get to a specialist soon if it doesn't improve over a day or two with simple eye drops such as Polysporin for eyes.

Is the eye tearing continually?

Please make sure you don't touch...or touch innocently with a towel or washcloth, especially to the other eye.

You-See--I just got over a bout of this myself. I used a doc-prescribed eyedrop topical antibiotic, and it cleared up in about a week (it grew progressively milder over that time but wasn't gone altogether until about day 9). And I was a fool at the beginning, didn't realize it might be pink eye, and touched both eyes, so I spread it from one eyeball to the other. But at least I didn't pass it on to my wife or kids.

i also got it,.. and a couple of times in the past 2 months, never been this bad..

i got a cold also,, polysporin or go to the eye dr.. drops 4 times a day for a couple of days depending on the drops... wash your hands over and over again if you touch your eyes !!!
